Perfect condision working BrailleSense 32 with Sendero 2010 GPS about 1 year old. It has only been used about 10 times, mainly for playing music and creating routes for GPS. This is the best device that I have used compared to the BrailleNote products and the Pacmate. This unit is in a league of its own. New cost with Sendero GPS is about $7500, will let it go for $3,000. Contact by Cell at 269-532-4318

Ever been riding in a cab and you want to make certain the driver is going to your destination the right way? Now you can with the Braille Sense and the new GPS add-on.

Sense Navigation (Sense Nav) is powered by Sendero GPS. This program uses map data together with a GPS receiver, and gives information based on the map data. Creating vehicle or pedestrian routes is easy and you can even share them with other gps users.

GPS satellites and massive location databases combine to create the potential for every place on earth to have a label. The Braille Sense, together with map data and a GPS receiver makes all labeled information accessible. Since GPS satellites can be picked up anywhere in the world, many consumer products already have access to this information. As the consumer demand for these technologies increases, there is more improvements for more accurate location information.

Who, on this site, has $3,000 lying around? It amazes me when posts like this are made. Sure, if an agency pays for it, or perhaps if the payments can be made in installments, it's fine. But I doubt that an agency would be willing to pay for a used product not from a vender. I could be wrong there. In any case, good luck on the sale.

I know if I had the money and could afford to spend it on buying a Braille display, I would. Although we and probably most others on here might not have anywhere near that kind of money to immediately spend on a product selling for around and above $1000, there are also many people on here that work and might be setting aside some money, saving up to buy something they might really want. And the fact that that thing is going for cheaper used than they'd have to pay if buying it new might catch someone's interest; it's worth a try, just in case someone here does have several 1000 lying around that they're waiting to spend on something they can use. *smile* Also, especially if he bought these things with his own money, it'd be nice for him to get something back, and he's only asking for around half of what he might have paid for it. Even if not, the buyer will only be paying around half of what they'd have to pay otherwise. It sounds reasonable to me. *smile*

*smile* I just realized that he wasn't selling a Braille display; I was thinking of another discussion on here that i just read that had been about Braille displays. But, if the original poster was willing to sell it separately and I had the money, the GPS part would sound interesting, because I already have the Braille Sense part. *smile* Unfortunately, I can't even afford $100 to spend for anything right now so... That's a good deal anyway though, that package for just $3000.

Thank you for you knowledge of adaptive equipment, I realize that I won't get back what I paid, however, if I can get around half I will be happy. I have betterd myself by going to college and getting a Masters degree and make over 80,000 a year so If I want something I can purchase it, however, I am not going to just give something away because I can. Therefore, instead of spending your entire day on a website, maybee you should go and find a job or get an education,. It is not easy for a blind person to get a job so you need to work harder and not just accept s s i, or s s d i.

I'm a college graduate with a 4.0 gpa. So been there and done that. I certainly wasn't expecting you to give something like that away for free, as this would be completely foolish. But perhaps, you might see if a library, agency, school or organisation would be able to purchase your item. You very well may have posted to other sites, and the point about some here possibly saving up to buy such a product was a very good one. It would just be very sad if this turned into a fruitless endeaver, especially since this technology could benefit so many and because you really should get a good amount for it, such as what you posted.

Your point is well taken and I don't have the time or care to contact agencies regarding the device. I put it out there and if I find it a new home great and if not oh well. I wish people would not get involved in something they are not interested in. I am not interested in debating how much something is worth or who can use or not. I posted the item and that is it, people who don't want to discuss purchasing it should keep out of the post because I don't care about opinions.

I don't care whether or not you care. I have one, I shared and that's the end of it. If you don't want opinions, post on ebay not on a discussion board!

To post 1: Keep trying, if not here, eBay and if not there see if the agencies around know someone or someplace will buy it.

It's not a big deal, If I could get $2000 out of it I could live with that, if not it isn't costing me anything where it is.
